Welcome to Take Two: Beginnings, where we share a helpful resource to offer inspiration or support. Each one is chosen to remind you that

no matter what you’re facing

— you are not alone.

A podcast, book, article or meditation . . . a place to begin.

The first time I listened to a Sarah Blondin guided meditation, I cried. I can’t remember exactly what part of my life was particularly challenging, but I know I was feeling overwhelmed and the day felt hard. Listening to her voice, soothing and warm, touched me in a way I hadn’t expected. I received the gift she gives to all her listeners: permission to accept ourselves despite a not-so-perfect life. I’ve been a devoted follower ever since.

I’ve listened to her 12 minute guided meditation “Healing through letting go” already a couple of times this week. She so perfectly describes how I’ve been feeling and, that understanding, makes my day feel lighter.

I access her meditations through the free app, insight timer (I have no affiliation), but you can also find them on itunes/apple podcasts (live awake). I’m excited to check out her book: Heart Minded: How to Hold Yourself and Others in Love.

She’s a true gift to anyone who could use one.

May we all be happy -

Kate
